2. Object of the game
The object of ARK... is to remove all the non-gold blocks from the
screen. To do this you must hit each block with the ball (some more than
once).
You must position the paddle beneath the ball to hit it when it is
close enough. The closer to the edge of the paddle the ball is when it hits
the more of an angle it will have.
If you miss the ball and it reaches the bottom then you lose 1 life.
After losing all your lives (you start with 3) the game is over. For each
rack that you complete you receive 1 free life.
Trying to stop you are the following bad things:
Monster: He moves around the screen trying to deflect your shots. A
good player can use him to help out the situation.
Silver Blocks: These tough blocks require 2 hits to destroy them.
Gold Blocks: These are the worst. You can not destroy these so you will
have to shoot around these guys.
To see a demo of the game type "ARKDEMO" at the DOS prompt and press return.
To run the game type "ARKEGA" at the DOS prompt and press return.
