The key to light the darkened place, is not within a woman's grace.
The virgin holds a man's own soul, and steals away his quest, his goal.
To win the Goal and learn the Quest, a bit of metal in fire test,
With end in sight and then in hand, return therefrom to promised land.
And claim the prize that many seek, but few will find unless they cheat.

The Underground river you now wade waist deep in, is full of garbage,
debris and small living things. The odor is terrible. The dirty river
flows East to West, vanishing into a locked iron grating. At hand are
steps carved into the stone walls that would allow you to climb to
the court yard above.

sewage outles Far above your head. The raw sewage cascades upon your head

is too small to go through.

begins to take on a greenish tint and washes about your legs. The water

The river flows North around a Bend in the Cavern. You bravely battle
the rapid current of the deepening waters. The water is a sickly Gray and
filled with what appear to be small portions of animal carcasses. The water
upwells here from an unseen source. The water swirls about your neck and
it's only through your great determination that it doesn't suck you down
into it.

vocano. Just above, the path seems to be interrupted as part of it has
collapsed and a gap of some 10 feet is apparent. The smoke from the
volcano's mouth is obscuring the break. GOOD THING YOU STOPPED HERE
as you wouldn't be able to see the gap from the path itself until
it was too late! You might have been killed! You are also thankful
for the fire someone has set here as it has been getting colder and
colder the higher you climb. You ponder a way to bridge the gap as
you warm your self by the fire.
