  5.      Users of RTM 1.00 -> 1.02 must run the new RTMCONVT Program to convert
  6.      the Task File to a new format to support the memo entry / wordwrap
  7.      feature in the attached descriptions. The file length remains unchanged
  8.      and is still compatible with CALRPT/TRV.

  69. GETTING STARTED

  71.    The Resident-TaskManager Distribution Disk contains the following files:

  73.    RTM.EXE        - The Resident-TaskManager program
  74.    RTM.DAT        - A Short Help File in Resident-TaskManager Format
  75.    RTM.DOC        - This file
  76.    RTMCONVT.EXE   - A Conversion Program to convert RTM 1.x files to
  77.                     2.x format.
  78.    RTMINST.EXE    - An installation program
  79.    README         - Changes or important information not included in
  80.                     the printed documentation (RTM.DOC).
  81.    REGISTER.BAT   - A BATch file to print out the registration form
  82.                     to your printer (LPT1)
  83.    REGFORM.DOC    - The actual Registration Form
  84.    PRINTDOC.BAT   - A BATch file to print out this documentation
  85.                     file to your printer (LPT1)
  86.    VENDOR.DOC     - Instructions to Disk Vendors who wish to
  87.                     distribute Resident-TaskManager.

  89.    Copy these files onto your disk into whatever directory you wish.  Then,
  90.    consider how you want to run Resident-TaskManager and set your options
  91.    with the install program.

  93.    Note: Once RTM has been installed you only need RTM.EXE and your Task
  94.    File (filename.DAT) on your disk.

  96. Using The Install Program
  97.  
  98.    To run RTMINST, simply type: C:>RTMINST <cr>
  99.  
  100.    RTMINST will look in the current directory for RTM.EXE.  If it's not
  101.    there, RTMINST will search your currently defined path. If that fails as
  102.    well, RTMINST will end with an error message.
  103.  
  104.    RTMINST presents a data-entry screen showing the name of each
  105.    configurable option and it's current value.  Use the cursor keys to
  106.    scroll through that screen, setting the defaults as you wish. Use the
  107.    <F1> key at any time for a Pop-Up Help box for the current field.

  109. Command Line Options
  110.  
  111.    The ability to change a few options from the command line, as you
  112.    load Resident-TaskManager is provided.  These options are those most
  113.    likely to change on a temporary basis (where you wouldn't want the
  114.    burden of re-running the installation program).

  116.    Typing RTM /? will give a list of the command line options.

  118.    Usage: RTM [Options]

  120.    Options: (Space is required between /O and Parameter)

  122.      /D          {Disk SWAPing TSR}  Specify D:\Path in RTM Install
  123.      /E          {EMS  SWAPing TSR}  If insufficient EMS Defaults to /D
