  3. │You are un-compressing the PRINTERS.EXE file to create the Printer Action    │
  4. │Table files to use with a PRO DEV Software program.  The files that will be  │
  5. │created, all have .PAT as the file name extender.  When the PAT files are on │
  6. │the disk with your PRO DEV programs, the programs will use the file selected │
  7. │by you for your printer to turn on Near Letter Quality and/or compressed     │
  8. │printing.                                                                    │
  9. │                                                                             │
  10. │If you are using the INSTALL program, as instructed by the README.DOC        │
  11. │instructions, on the Shareware disk, all of the above is being automatically │
  12. │done for you by the INSTALL program and you can skip the rest of this screen.│
  13. │                                                                             │
  14. │If you have a hard disk, Change Directory to the sub-directory containing    │
  15. │the program files and insert the PRO DEV Shareware disk in drive A: and type │
  16. │A:PRINTERS (Enter).                                                          │
  17. │                                                                             │
  18. │If you do NOT have a hard disk, place the working program disk in drive B:.  │
  19. │Change the DOS default to the B: drive by typing B: (Enter), and place the   │
  20. │Shareware disk in drive A: and type A:PRINTERS (Enter).                      │

  22. │If you ARE ready to continue, type Y to the following question.  If you have │
  23. │NOT gotten your disk ready, type N.                                          │
