  62.       DAYO is a collection of multiuser business applications that provide a
  63.   system of inventory control, purchasing, invoicing, customers, vendors,
  64.   sales and more... All DAYO products are multiuser, designed to work on a
  65.   Microcomputer (PC) Based Local Area Network (LAN), like LANtastic (tm) or
  66.   Novell (tm). DAYO can, however, be used in a 'standalone' mode; running on a
  67.   single PC.
  68.       DAYO is full featured with features being added frequently. Unlike many
  69.   'off the shelf' products, DAYO is dynamic; constantly evolving into that
  70.   'perfect' program. Version numbers are used (ie: Version 2.0), but not to
  71.   designate a static/fixed program. Version 1.3 changed the next day to Version
  72.   1.3+ and maybe tomorrow we will call it Version 1.3++ or 1.4... The point
  73.   being that you get the latest product available or if registered, the ability
  74.   to upgrade frequently to the latest release. You get the 'latest and
  75.   greatest' product that may even include a suggested change by you. We do fix
  76.   reported 'bugs' (we like to call them 'features') free and will (at our cost)
  77.   mail out or send via modem the fix (usually the same day). We do not supply
  78.   printed manuals (another reason for a low cost since they total over 2500
  79.   pages), but do supply them in a 'ready to print' format so that you can
  80.   create your own manuals. Note, all user manual documents can be read on the
  81.   screen with the F1 (Help) function key. Like the programs, user manuals also
  82.   change frequently...
  83.       All the modules were created to be TOTALLY INTEGRATED with each other,
  84.   however, they can be used independently as well.
  85.       DAYO is a MULTIUSER system. This means that when run on a network (like
  86.   LANtastic (tm) or Novell (tm)), the databases and files can be shared; used
  87.   simultaneously by more than one user. If used on a network, no changes are
  88.   required for DAYO.
  89.       There are hundreds of reports for DAYO. Each module has many reports and
  90.   specific to itself and DAYO Smart Reports contains many other reports.
  91.       DAYO uses databases, report forms, and configuration files that are
  92.   dBase III+/IV (tm) compatible. This means you can use the popular dBase
  93.   programs to edit, view, and report on data from the many DAYO databases.
  94.       A simple database management module is included with most of the modules
  95.   to provide you with additional means to modify, view, and report your data.
  96.       DAYO places NO LIMITATIONS on the number of records, or users.

  119.   INVENTORY

  121.     DAYO Inventory is a Multiuser Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Vendor
  122.  Maintenance application. Use DAYO Inventory to create and maintain an
  123.  inventory of any product. Create and print purchase orders on a standard
  124.  printer or a Hewlett Packard LaserJet (tm). Receive purchase orders into
  125.  inventory, with the option of printing receivers ('key recs'), and inventory
  126.  tags/price labels. Maintain a Vendors database complete with the vendors
  127.  purchasing history. With the exception of the initial and ongoing data entry
  128.  of new product and vendors, DAYO Inventory is totally menu driven. Since DAYO
  129.  Inventory is multiuser, it is capable of operating on most of the PC based
  130.  networks, ie Novell (tm). Other features include Reports, Labels, Lists, and
  131.  a Graph. A simple database management module is also included to provide you
  132.  with additional means to modify, view, and report your data. The ability to
  133.  upgrade your system is available with the addition of supporting DAYO
  134.  products (ie: DAYO POS, DAYO EOP, DAYO AP, and more...).

  139.       DAYO POS (Point of Sale) is a Billing and Invoicing application for any
  140.   size business. It is the DAYO module that permits you to invoice out your
  141.   products while keeping an accurate record of all your 'sales'.  Features
  142.   include:  Multiuser (ie: Novell), Registers, Quote Interface (to DAYO
  143.   Quotes), Templates Back Orders, Data Entry Validation, Cash Drawers (Serial
  144.   or Parallel), Databases are dBase (tm) compatible, HP Laser Special

  155.       DAYO Price Book is a system of creating and maintaining specialized
  156.   pricing for your customer/clients. Special printouts (Price Books/Catalogs)
  157.   may be printed to a standard printer, or to a Hewlett Packard (tm) Laserjet
  158.   or compatible. It requires the presence of DAYO Inventory and DAYO POS
  159.   (Point of Sale) programs/databases.

  161.       Customers are invoiced (with DAYO POS), using the price in the inventory
  162.   database (INV.DBF), or with one of the special Price Book methods:

  172.       DAYO Quotes creates sales order quotes based on the DAYO Inventory,
  173.   Customer, and other DAYO databases. Quotes can be printed on a standard
  174.   printer or a Hewlett Packard (tm) Laserjet compatible printer. The quote can
  175.   be printed on a pre-printed form, on the Laser printer in a special laser
  176.   format, or as a standard/default form. DAYO Quotes closely models itself
  177.   after the DAYO POS (Point of Sale) application and is totally integrated
  178.   with that application. Templates (kits or bundles), are supported.

  183.       DAYO INDEX is a program designed to manage the indexing of the DAYO
  184.   databases. DAYO applications all have multiple indexes, and because it is
  185.   recommended that they be reindexed at least once daily, DAYO Index was
  186.   created to simplify this process.

  191.       DAYO PASSWORDS provide DAYO Business Application users with a system of
  192.   database security through the use of passwords. Its use is optional, but
  193.   recommended in areas where more than one person has access to the data.

  196.   DAYO BACK ORDERS

  198.       DAYO BACK ORDERS is the maintenance module for the processing of all
  199.   your customers/sales backorders. DAYO BO (working with DAYO POS) determines
  200.   and manages the filling (allocation) of your customers backorders. It does
  201.   this through an allocation process that determines what backordered items
  202.   are 'fillable' because of receipts into the inventory. Creates the same type
  203.   invoices as DAYO POS.

  206.   AR (ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE)

  208.       DAYO AR is the 'final chapter' to the processing and maintenance of all
  209.   your Receivables. DAYO AR includes routines to handle cash receipts,
  210.   customers, invoice types, terms, taxcodes, sales persons, and more. Many
  211.   reports are included (ie: Ageing, Customer, Sales...). There is a routine
  212.   to print Statements (ie: SMART, 90, 60, 30 days), and another one to create
  213.   and print 'non' standard invoices (not applicable to DAYO POS). HP Laser
  214.   forms are provided as an option for Statements and Invoices.

  217.   AP (ACCOUNTS PAYABLE)

  219.       DAYO AP is the 'final chapter' to the processing and maintenance of all
  220.   your Payables. DAYO AP's key mission is to process/post your purchase orders,
  221.   however, many other routines have been provided, ie: Expense Maintenance,
  222.   1099 MISC Forms, Purchase Clearing, Vendor Maintenance, Hand/Manual Checks,
  223.   Batch Checks, Recurring Checks, Unlimited Bank Accounts, Unlimited Check
  224.   Printing Formats and over 21 Reports.

  230.       DAYO General Ledger provides a means to manage and report company
  231.   finances. DAYO GL is totally integrated with the other DAYO packages.
  232.   Features include computer generated posting, multiuser, double entry, export
  233.   data, 30+ reports, budget management and unlimited accounts.

  237.       DAYO Look Up is a routine for DAYO users to view data from any DAYO
  238.   database or dBase (tm) compatible database (.DBF). No editing is allowed.
  239.   This provides a 'safe' tool for users that do not have the need to make
  240.   changes to the databases. Has multi-level passwords.

  244.       DAYO EOP (End of Period Pack & Inventory) contains routines that are
  245.   normally run at the end of a reporting period (ie: Month). DAYO EOP permits
  246.   you to permanently remove deleted records from the Accounts Receivable (AR)
  247.   and Accounts Payable (AP) databases, and to erase old report text files.
  248.   There is also a routine for performing a Physical Inventory. Many reports
  249.   are included (ie: AR Ageing, AP Summary, Inventory Movement).

  298.   inventory adjustment records, databases are dBase (tm) compatible,

  379.       DAYO RENTAL POS (Point of Sale) is a Billing and Invoicing application
  380.   for any business that rents items, equipment, or services, ie: Videos,
  381.   Tapes, Furniture, Tools, Appliances, etc. This program requires the regular
  382.   DAYO POS module for its reports and configuration settings. It is by default
  383.   a multiuser system, allowing almost unlimited numbers of users to have the
  384.   ability to simultaneously invoice using this one program on a PC based
  385.   LAN/Network. It can however, be run (like all DAYO products) as a
  386.   'standalone' application.

  392.       DAYO BAR CODE prints 3 of 9 bar codes onto an Epson (tm) or IBM (tm)
  393.   compatible dot matrix printer. It is integrated with the DAYO Inventory and
  394.   the DAYO Customer databases. It can be used as a standalone application if
  395.   you just have a limited number of labels to print, or have no use for an
  396.   inventory control or account receivable application. Labels are printed onto
  397.   standard labels (3.5 by 15/16 inches at 6 lines per inch). The inventory bar
  398.   code label consists of an item number, its bar code, with the option to also
  399.   print the vendor item number, description, unit of issue, weight, and
  400.   bin/location. The customer bar code label consists of a customer number, its
  401.   bar code, with the option to also print the customer's name and telephone
  402.   number.
