  13.       READIT is a general-purpose program for reading, browsing or
  14.       searching ascii text files, program documentation, program
  15.       manuals, letters, etc. on your computer's screen.

  18.         ALL REGISTERED USERS WILL NEED TO CONTACT US FOR ANOTHER
  19.         REGISTRATION CODE TO LICENSE THIS VERSION OF READIT.
  20.         There will be no charge for this upgrade.

  23.       READIT will allow you to read, browse or search for text in
  24.       any length text file. You are not limited to just your memory
  25.       (RAM) size. I have used it to browse and search through over
  26.       3 million (3,276,225) bytes (46,432 lines) of text in one file.

  28.       You no longer have to load your word processor just to take a
  29.       look at the letter you have stored on disk in ascii format.
  30.       Just run READIT.

  32.       You no longer need to use the "more" filter from DOS.
  33.       Just run READIT.
  34.  
  35.       READIT displays 24 lines of text on the screen at a time.
  36.       Keys for scrolling and paging are displayed on line 25 of
  37.       the screen.

  39.       You may scroll the screen one line or one screen full at
  40.       a time, move to the last line of your file, move to the
  41.       first line of your file, move to any line in your file or
  42.       search for any text within your file.

  44.    Computer requirements:

  46.       READIT will run on almost any PC or close compatible with a
  47.       minimum of 512Kb of memory and one floppy drive using MS_Dos
  48.       or PC_DOS 2.1 or better.

  50.       READIT will operate with Monochrome, CGA, EGA & VGA displays.

  54.    Notice: I Have decided to include READIT with all of the software
  55.          packages developed Emerald Coast Software and to allow
  56.          registered users of these main packages to also become
  57.          registered users of READIT (FREE) at the time they register
  58.          the main package.

  60.          Since I am including READIT free with all releases (new and
  61.          updates) of our software packages, I feel that I owe it to all
  62.          previously registered users of our software packages to become
  63.          registerd users of READIT free of charge also if they so choose.

  66.    Remember:
  67.          If you are a registered user of any Emerald Coast Software
  68.          package, you may become a registered user of READIT (free
  69.          of charge) by writing or calling us and giving us your name
  70.          and the registration number of your software package. We
  71.          will then give you a License Authorization Code that will
  72.          remove all notices of "Un-Licensed" from your screen and
  73.          your copy will show on the screen that you are a licensed
  74.          user of READIT.

  76.          If you do not have a copy of READIT, you may download it from
  77.          many of the BBS's across the USA including our own Emerald
  78.          Coast Software Support BBS, or, a copy on a 360Kb formatted
  79.          5 1/4 inch disk may be ordered from us for a charge of $3.50
  80.          to cover the cost of the media, shipping and handling. Florida
  81.          residents must add $.23 for Sales Tax for a total of $3.73.

  84.    If you are not yet a registered user of any of our software packages,
  85.    you may become a registered user of the main software programs and
  86.    READIT at the same time when you register the main package.

  88.    If you wish to become a registered user of READIT only, and are not
  89.    a registered user of any other software package developed by Emerald
  90.    Coast Software, you should mail $7 in US funds to:

  97.    If possible, please use the registration form in the file REGISTER.FRM.
  98.    You may print it on your printer by typing at the DOS prompt:

  100.    and then press the <Enter> key. Your printer must be turned on.
