  10. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION- WCD, The World City Distance Computer, is designed
  11. to provide distance and travel time information between over 400
  12. different world cities, including most major US cities.  The program is
  13. windowed and menu driven, and basically self-explanatory.

  15. HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS- This program is designed for IBM Personal
  16. Computers and close compatibles.  It will execute on the IBM-PC, PC-XT,
  17. PS/2 and PC-jr.  DOS Version 2.1 or later is required.  Since the
  18. program relies extensively on color, a color monitor is recommended.
  19. The program will run, however, unmodified, on the Compaq.  WCD requires
  20. about 64K of memory and does not require BASIC to operate.

  22. PROGRAM FILES- The World City Distance Computer system comes in four
  23. files which are packaged in a self-extracting archive file called
  24. WCDARC.EXE.  Running this archive program creates each of the four
  25. system files.  Some versions of this program may contain WCDARC.EXE
  26. bundled along with WCDREAD.ME (the file you are reading) into an archive
  27. file called WCD.ARC.
