  1. README.1ST:  for THE AMERICAN STATES(c)  - SHAREWARE -

  3. INSTALLATION
  4.  
  5.           These programs cannot fit on one disk even if compressed.  Disk
  6. `A' contains QUIZSTAT.EXE, USTAT.DOC and all the tests.  It also contains the
  7. PC.COM histories.  USTATE.DOC may be TYPEd to the screen or PRINTed on your
  8. printer. Typing QUIZSTAT at the DOS prompt will run the quiz/review/test
  9. program.
  10.  
  11.           Disk `B' contains all but the last four state histories (see above),
  12. the .BAT files and LISTSTAT as a menu for listing, selecting and reading the
  13. histories.  Type READSTAT to access the menu list.
  14.  
  15.           Be sure to make a backup of these files.  They may all be placed on
  16. one high density disk, of course.
  17.  
  18.           The ANSI.SYS (or NANSI.SYS) should be loaded for the .BAT files
  19. to work properly.
