  2. This disk contains four probability and statistics programs. To fit everything
  3. on one disk, the source files are squeezed. You may unsqueeze them by placing
  4. this disk in drive A, a blank disk in drive B, log to drive B and type
  5. A:AUSQ A:CFIT12.PQS. CFIT12.PAS will be on drive B. Repeat with LILFOR13.PQS,
  6. SIMCORR.PQS and PROB111.BQS. You don't have to do this right away, since you
  7. don't need the source code to run the programs.

  9. Type all DOCs and SAMPLE.OUT to printer: TYPE filename.ext > PRN.

  11.    The four programs included on the disk are:
  12. CFIT    version 1.2  - fits up to 196 different curves to paired data, plots
  13.                        data on printer, does various diagnostics.
  14. LILFOR  version 1.3  - does Lilliefors goodness of fit test for normality,
  15.                        plots various graphs on printer.
  16. PROB    version 1.11 - computes probabilities from common discrete and
  17.                        continuous probability distributions.
  18. SIMCORR version 1.0  - simulates samples from the bivariate normal distribution
  19.                        to help in studying the correlation coefficient.

  21. SAMPLE.SDA is a sample data file for use by CFIT and LILFOR. LILFOR, PROB and
  22. SIMCORR are public domain. CFIT is user supported. Enjoy.
