  9.   We recognize that many will want to acquire and use a much more
  10. powerful statistical program than is represented by this freeware
  11. product.  If you need a more advanced program, you may wish to
  12. consider purchasing the "Statistical Package for the Personal
  13. Computer" or SPPC program.  The SPPC contains all of the FREESTAT
  14. procedures and a great deal more!  The remainder of this chapter
  15. provides information about the SPPC program and how to order a
  16. copy.

  18.   The SPPC is a fast, accurate, simple to use, yet powerful data
  19. analysis package that demands little of your computer, takes up a
  20. minimum of space on your hard disk, and gives you a large number
  21. of data analysis options.  It is menu driven throughout and very
  22. fast on the most minimal of equipment.  The SPPC requires an IBM
  23. XT, AT, PS/2 or fully compatible system using DOS 3.0 or higher
  24. (requires a hard disk) with 640K of memory.

  28.   The SPPC includes a complete Data Manager, Frequency
  29. Distributions, Summary Statistics, Crosstabs, Probability
  30. Functions, Measures of Association, Elementary Regression,
  31. Parametric Hypothesis Testing, Non-parametric Hypothesis Testing,
  32. Correlation Matrix, Simultaneous Multiple Regression,
  33. Hierarchical Multiple Regression, Analysis of Variance
  34. capability, Statistical Potpourri, and a Printed User's Manual.

  36.                            DATA FILES

  38.   There is no limit to the number of cases you can have in any
  39. data file and you can have up to 200 variables in any of them.
  40. You can have your data files on any number of diskettes and
  41. process all of them.  The SPPC data manager provides complete
  42. support for creating, editing, and updating your data files.  You
  43. can also create subfiles for those special analysis chores and
  44. diskfile sorting is very convenient.

  46.                           SAVED OUTPUT

  48.   A very nice feature is one that stores all outputs for any
  49. computer session.  When finished, you can send your final output
  50. to the screen, your printer, or a permanent disk file.  This
  51. feature is ideal for capturing final results to edit and merge
  52. into other documents with your word processor.

  54.                          SCREEN GRAPHICS

  56.   If you have a CGA, EGA, or VGA monitor and board you will also
  57. have instant high resolution graphics.  Create bar charts, column
  58. charts, line graphs, scatterplots, and pie charts.  All of them
  59. with legends, titles and other useful features.  Capture your
  60. graphs as slides, as many as you like, and save them all for
  61. later review or to move into documents with such powerful word
  62. processors as Microsoft Word and Word Perfect.  The SPPC also
  63. contains a Slide Show facility for presentation of graphical
  64. analysis that you have performed and saved.

  67. the FREESTAT directory issue the command, ORDERIT.  Your computer
