  5.                             What is Shareware?

  7.      PC-FASTYPE is distributed as 'Shareware'.  Shareware is a computer
  8. program distribution and marketing method that permits buyers to
  9. thoroughly evaluate the program prior to purchase.  Shareware is NOT free
  10. and it is NOT in the Public Domain.  If, after evaluating PC-FASTYPE, you
  11. find it useful enough to use on a regular basis to improve your typing
  12. skills, then you are expected to pay for it by registering your 'Use'
  13. license with Trendtech Corporation.  The SINGLE-USER Registration Fee is
  14. $25.00 plus $3.00 for shipping and handling payable by check or Money
  15. Order in U.S. Funds drawn on a U.S. bank.   Corporate and Educational Site
  16. Licenses, and Right-to-Copy Licenses are also available.  Please read the
  17. User Guide for details.

  21.      The Shareware version of PC-FASTYPE displays registration information
  22. screens, registration procedures and registration inducements, as do most
  23. quality Shareware products produced by members of the Association of
  24. Shareware Professionals.

  27.      When you register your 'Use' license of PC-FASTYPE with Trendtech
  28. Corporation, you will receive a disk containing the very latest version of
  29. PC-FASTYPE along with instructions and a special code that is provided
  30. ONLY to registered users that when used, will eliminate the registration
  31. information screens at the beginning and end of the program.

  33.      You are also allowed to make additional copies of the latest version
  34. of PC-FASTYPE that you receive and pass them on to your friends and
  35. associates.  However, you are NOT allowed, under any circumstances, to
  36. give out your special code to NON-registered users of PC-FASTYPE.  This
  37. would be a dereliction of your responsibility as a registered user and a
  38. serious violation of our license agreement and good trust.

  40.      PC-FASTYPE encourages registrations by displaying various Shareware
  41. Registration information screens at the beginning and end of the program.
  42. When you use your REGISTERED version, there will be NO registration
  43. inducement interruptions to hinder your normal use of PC-FASTYPE.

  46.      When you register PC-FASTYPE and receive your special code, these
  47. registration encouragements will not appear on the display screen when you
  48. run PC-FASTYPE.  However, this Registration Information that you are NOW
  49. reading in the Quick HELP Facility will still be available.

  54.      Registration gives you many benefits: you will receive a disk
  55. containing the latest version of PC-FASTYPE, special instructions along
  56. with a special code to eliminate the Shareware Information screens; plus,
  57. either a book to help you with your writing and authoring style, or a
  58. printed user guide,  - and, free support from Trendtech by telephone or
  59. letter.   Finally, the author's letter of sincere thanks for supporting
  60. Shareware will include an express money-back guarantee if you are not
  61. satisfied for whatever reason.

  63.      When you copy and pass along PC-FASTYPE to your friends and
  64. associates for evaluation, please encourage them to register their copy if
  65. they find the program useful.

  69. are for their disk duplication and distribution services only.   Trendtech

  72. FASTYPE.  Trendtech prefers to deal with vendors who are Associate Members
  73. of the A.S.P.
