You choose the desired program function by hitting
"Function" keys. Each function key takes you to a
different section of the program. F9 saves all of
the program setups so the program looks exactly the
same the next time you execute it. Use the
auxiliary menus to change the operating parameters
of the program such as 1) Observer's location, 2)
Time parameters, 3) Magnitude cutoff, etc.
Horizon Display
Hit 'p' to enter PICK mode. Then use the arrow
keys to move the cursor to a desired star. Then
hit 's' to obtain a description of the object.
Then hit 'h' if you want to see all of the stars
in the constellation. Hit 't' if you want to turn
on stellar trails. Use the auxiliary menus (from
the Main Menu) to change display parameters (Time,
Location, etc.).
Solar System Display
This display shows the planets orbiting about the
Sun. Use '+' to zoom in and '-' to zoom out. Hit
't' to turn on orbit trails.
Planetary Data Display
This display shows information about the planets
according to the TIME and LOCATION parameters.
Hit any key to update the display according to the
TIME parameters.

program. These parameters describe the period of
simulated time that is to go by on each computer
clock cycle. The parameters which you specify here
will be used by the Horizon, Solar System, and
Planetary Data displays.
Location Setup Menu
Use this menu to change the LOCATION parameters of
the program. These parameters describe the point
on Earth you are viewing from. The parameters
which you specify here will be used by the
Horizon, Solar System, and Planetary Data displays.
Star Setup Menu
Use this menu to change the STAR parameters of the
program. These parameters are used to indicate
which stars are displayed in which simulated
magnitude. The parameters which you specify here
will be used by the Horizon Display.
Planet Setup Menu
Use this menu to indicate which planets are to be
displayed when you bring up a Display Menu. The
parameters which you specify here will be used by
the Horizon, Solar System, and Planetary Data
displays.

This option saves the program's current settings
to file. They will automatically be read in
the next time you use the program.
