  4. pBASE is a programmable relational database management system designed
  5. for programmers.  It provides facilities for querying and manipulating
  6. data, as well as report writing.  Unlike most database managers, pBASE
  7. represents all data as a table.  Data may be accessed & revised using
  8. interactive commands or through user-written application programs.
  9. pBASE is based on the Structured Query Language (SQL).
