  9. personal use only and may not be repackaged or resold without the
  10. express written consent of EMS. If you want to resell it or use it for
  11. your business, you may obtain the most recent version for only $20.

  13. The accompanying dBase DBF file contains the names and addresses of
  14. 449 dBase Utility producers.  These represent all known people and
  15. organizations that have produced dBase utilities for sale or as public
  16. domain works.  This list is being distributed by EMS, a microcomputing
  17. consulting company which also publishes the dBUtility Directory and
  18. the dBUtility Library. EMS is distributing this list as a service to
  19. the dBase community, as an effort to complete and improve the
  20. dBUtility Directory, and as a low cost promotion for the dBUtility
  21. Directory.

  23. The DBF file contains names, addresses, and telephone (as well as
  24. Source, CIS, FAX, Telex, etc.) numbers for every person or
  25. organization that has produced one or more of the dBase related
  26. utilities listed in the current (22 August) version of the dBUtility
  27. Directory.  There are over 860 different utilities listed in the
  28. directory including over 400 different public domain and shareware
  29. utilities.

  31. EMS would appreciate corrections/additions to this list of names and
  32. addresses so that the directory can be updated.  Anyone providing EMS
  33. with updated information will have EMS' thanks and discounts on EMS
  34. products. For example, those who contribute information may purchase
  35. the complete DBF file on diskette at a discount of $10 from the normal
  36. $20 price, the printed directory at a discount of $5 from the normal
  37. $20 price, or the entire dBUtility Library (22+ diskettes of ARCed
  38. files) at a discount of $20 from the normal $65 price.  Shipping and
  39. handling for the dBUtility Library is $5 US/$10 foreign.  The complete
  40. dBUtility DBF has the names, prices, types, and short descriptions of
  41. all utilities produced by the people and organizations listed in the
  42. DBF, as well as BBSs from which the PD and shareware utilities can be
  43. downloaded.
