  3. "The create function is used to write a new record from the data on the"
  4. "screen.  Presumably you have edited/merged in data to make up  the new"
  5. "record.  In a name and address file you might wish to add a record for"
  6. "a contact who is employed by the same company as a person currently in"
  7. "your file.  Instead of entering all the  data you call  up  the record"
  8. "for the the other employee and edit out his/her name  and  phone exte-"
  9. "ntion.  Then you use CREATE to write the new record."
