  5.      This is TickleX, the most powerful tickler/calendar program available.
  6. As part of the ManageX series of timekeeping, billing and bookkeeping soft-
  7. ware, it requires an IBM-compatible PC/XT/AT with a hard disk, DOS 2.1 or
  8. greater and enough memory to devote 425K solely to TickleX.
  9.  
  10. NOTE:  You must have 4 files, TX58A.ZIP, TX58B.ZIP, TX58C.ZIP, TX58D.ZIP.  You
  11.        will have to extract files from all these ARC files in order to use
  12.        TickleX.
  13.  
  14. NOTE: Pass around only EXACT copies of both TX58A, TX58B, TX58C, & TX58D.ZIP.
  15.       Never distribute files that have been extracted from these files, even if
  16.       they've subsequently been "re-arced".  Try as you might, you're sure
  17.       to forget to include an important file if you distribute anything but
  18.       EXACT copies of TX58A.ZIP, TX58B.ZIP, TX58C.ZIP, and TX58D.ZIP.

  21. To install TICKLEX:
  22.  
  23.     1: Use PKUNZIP to extract TickleX from the four ZIP files mentioned above
  24.        into a MANAGEX directory on your hard disk.
  25.     2: Copy BACKUP.COM and RESTORE.COM from your DOS diskette to the MANAGEX
  26.        directory (or insure that they are in the PATH).
  27.     3: Make sure that your computer's CONFIG.SYS file has a line saying,
  28.        "FILES=40".
  29.     4: To print the documentation, enter "type ticklex.doc >prn" (60 pages).
  30.     5: To start TickleX, move to the MANAGEX directory of your hard disk and
  31.        enter "tx" (not "ticklex").
  32.     6: Make sure your monitor's contrast is set so that the screen can display
  33.        different shades.

  36.      TickleX is being offered as user-supported "shareware".  You are free to
  37. distribute copies of it to anyone you wish, provided that you comply with the
  38. licence contained in the documentation.  Anyone who uses the program regularly
  39. is under a moral obligation to register by filling in the accompanying reg-
  40. istration form and sending it, along with the registration fee, to Integra
  41. Computing.  Registered users will receive the most recent version of the
  42. program and the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped bring software
  43. prices down by supporting the shareware concept.

  45.       IF YOU DELAY REGISTERING, TICKLEX WILL BEGIN TO BEEP REMINDERS TO
  46. YOU IN A FEW MONTHS.  DON'T WORRY, YOU'RE NOT BEING THREATENED.  NO FILES
  47. WILL BE DESTROYED, AND THE PROGRAM WILL NOT SUDDENLY "DIE".  TICKLEX WILL
  48. ALWAYS WORK FOR YOU, EVEN IF YOU DON'T PAY FOR IT.

  52. -  Answering letters consumes considerable resources.  Therefore, mailed cor-
  53. respondence other than a registration or software order is not likely to be
