Address 1 - Enter the first line of
the address for your company.
Address 2 - Enter the second line of the
address for your company.
Address 3 - Enter the third line of the
address for your company.
Address - Enter up to 30 characters for the mailing
address of this company or person. You have
two lines to enter the address
Use this routine to Add or Change records in
your database. To prevent duplicate entries,
you can not enter two entries with the same
name. If you wish to enter multiple contancts
for the same company, add characters to the name
field to make each entry unique.
3Category
\Enter the Category Code for this movie or event. Some of the Category Codes that you may want to
use are COM for a comedy, WES for a western. The codes that you enter must have been set up in
the category file before they can be used here.
City - Enter the City name (up to 20 characters)
Condensed - Enter the command sequence to place your printer
into condensed mode. (For values less that 32,
use ALT+value). Epson printers use CHR(15), a
HP Laserjet can use ESC&k2S (ESC=27).
Contact - Enter the name of a individual if this is
a Company. (You could leave this field
blank if this record is for a person).
Country - Enter the name of the foreign
country. You have 15 characters.
Company - Enter the Name of your Company. You can
enter up to 35 characters. This name will
print at the top of the various reports.
The name and address will print at the top
of the Print Shipping Labels with Address.
Display Names and Addresses
6 This function displays the existing records in the
database in Name sequence in a scrolling window. At
this point, you can press the INS key to add a new
record, the DEL key to delete the highlighted entry, or the ENTER key to change the highlighted entry.
Pressing the ESC key will return you to the Menu.
Use the Page Up or Page Down, or the Up Arrow or
Down Arrow keys to move the Highlight bar to the
entry that you wish to change or delete.
1Ending Location
QEnter the Ending Location on the tape for this movie or event. By noting this location, when you want to record additional information on
this tape, all you need to do is to go to this spot and start recording.
4Female Actors
YEnter the names of the female actors that starred in this movie or event.
Home Phone - Enter the Home Phone number
for this record.
?Enter Letter to Display
eEnter the first letter of the Names that you wish to limit
the display to. Only Names that start with this letter
will be displayed.
,If you wish to see all of the records displayed, press the
F2 key at this time.
3Length (In Minutes)
QEnter the running time of this movie or event.
This information appears on the various reports.
2Male Actors
WEnter the names of the Male actors that starred in this movie or event.
6MISC
fEnter up to 20 characters of miscellaneous comments about this movie or event.
Name - Enter the Name of the Company
or of the Individual that you
wish to track here.
You have 30 characters for the
Name.
Normal - Enter the control code to place your printer into
normal print. For values less than 32, enter the
value by holding down the ALT key and entering the
value on the numeric keypad. Epson and compatible
printers use CHR(18) to cancel condensed printing,
HP Laserjet uses ESC&k0S (ESC = 27)
1Rating Code
UEnter the Rating Code for this movie or event. This field is 4 characters long, and the
suggested rating codes are:
NONE - No code established
- Parental Guidence
PG13 - Parental Guidence childen under 13
- Restricted to those over 16
- Restricted to those over 18
?Recorded Date
oEnter the date that this movie or event was recorded by you.
5Year Released
[Enter the year that this movie was first released, or the event was first recorded.

database of names and addresses. Use this function
to add new records, or change or delete existing
records.
d* Print Mailing Labels prints one-wide labels on
label forms that are 3" x 15/16" in size.
C* Print Reports by Name or Zip allows for the printing
of a short report (one line per entry) or a long
report (two lines per entry).
O* Quit returns you to the operating system.
,Tape Speed
LEnter the recording speed that this movie or event was record at.
SP = Standard Play (2 Hours)
LP = Long Play
(4 Hours)
EP = Extended Play (6 Hours)
7Starting Location
[Enter the starting location for this movie or event. The first item recorded on a tape will always start
at 0, however additional items recorded will have a
starting location that will make it easier to go to
that item later on.
#(Remember to set the display to zero when you insert a tape that is fully rewound.)
State - Enter the 2 character State Abbreviation.
If the 2 characters that you entered are
a valid state abbreviation, the state
name will be displayed to the right.
(Tape Number
CEnter the video tape number that this movie or event is recorded on.
0The first thing that you need to do
is to assign each of your tapes a
unique tape number. (Make sure that
this number is easily visible when
the tapes are stored.
3Title
_Enter the Title or a Description of the movie or event that is recorded on the video.
Type - Enter a two character code to group this
entry with others of a similar nature.
You could assign CU to all of the entries
for Customers, VE for Vendors, PR for
prospects, etc.
ONote: All of the printing routines ask for the
type code that you want to print, so you
can print out mailing labels for all of
your records with a type code of CU, and
only get labels for you customers. If you
want labels for customers and vendors,
you will need to run the Print Labels
routine twice.
- Enter the description for the User defined Description
field. This description will appear on the
Add/Change Names screen and on the reports.
Enter up to 15 characters.
User - Enter information to categorize this name Field
by the description for this field. (The
description is entered thru the Enter
Company Name screen). You have up to 5
characters for this field.
Workdate - Enter the date that should be used
by the system for today's work. This
date will be printed at the top of
the various reports.
Work Phone - Enter the Work Phone number for
this record.
Zip Code - Enter the 5 character Postal Zip Code.
Zip Code Extension - Enter the 4 digit Zip Code Extension.
