Provides professional quality resumes in three flexible formats. |
The Print/Display Resume activity writes a complete resume from |
information provided in the Add/Update personal history option. The resume|
can be produced in three formats, and all sections may be arranged in any |
order within each format. |
* Standard. |
Follows a chronological format. Includes all sections except |
the summary that features three skills selected by time of service |
in each. |
* Accomplishments. |
Includes a record of work experience accomplishments, in addition |
to the sections included in under the standard format. |
* Targeted. |
Composes the summary and selects accomplishments, training, and |
other items that reflect the skills you identify. Education and |
work experience remain the same. |
Create or update user catalog. Display or print supplied catalog. |
When you select the "Skills Catalog" option from the Main Menu, you will |
be presented with the catalog screen. |
Re$ume! Catalog: |
- Lists all 300 base skills provided on the disk |
- Lists any special skill catalogs appended to the base skills |
User Catalog: |
- Allows entry of up to 10 skills that aren't provided in the Re$ume! |
catalog |
Print Out: |

special skill catalogs |
Change logged disk drive. Select a new person and catalog. |
Two options are available. |
1) Change logged disk drive: allows you to reconfigure your system to |
use the data files stored on a different drive. This option |
provides access from within the program to the same screen you |
completed when you first started. |
2) Select a different file: allows you to begin processing or updating |
a personal history that is different from the file you selected |
when you entered the program. |
Both of these options are `short-cuts' that help you avoid exiting to |
DOS and re-entering Re$ume!. |
