  5. PC-ESTIMATOR helps you estimate building costs for projects of all sizes
  6. and kinds, from skyscrapers to kitchen remodeling.  Developed by
  7. construction professionals, the program can be changed to be as big or
  8. small, as complex or simple as you want.  The bottom line is custom cost
  9. estimates with your markup and choice of detail included.

  11. You begin with pull down menus, lots of help and documentation and
  12. sample files.  You build material price lists and cost data that keeps
  13. accumulating.  The databases are unlimited, growing as your application
  14. grows.  They include markups, labor and equipment rates, standard cost
  15. codes and vendor tracking.  You can have different markups for
  16. individual estimates or multiple estimates carried out simultaneously.

  18. The program produces reports for several levels of detail in estimates
  19. including itemized and built-in markup applications, and allows for
  20. "what if" type analyses.  An on-screen takeoff calculator with memory is
  21. available at the touch of a function key.  The data files are 100 per
  22. cent compatible with dBase III+ application programs and are
  23. translatable by Lotus and Symphony.  Lookup windows allow you to view
  24. any file at any time.

  26. Wage rates for a number of construction trades are included with the
  27. program.  They are tied to 4-digit codes commonly used by the
  28. construction industry.  Based on union rates, they are the average of
  29. several major U.S. cities and can easily be customized to fit your area.

  31. This is the first of the two-disk program.  Both are needed to run
  32. PC-ESTIMATOR.  Disk #1384 is the second disk in the set and contains the
  33. data files for the program.
