  1. One very attractive feature of The Little Black Book is the ability to
  2. make demonstration copies of the software.   You may make as many demo
  3. copies  as you like for distribution to friends and  associates.   The
  4. demonstration copies will perform exactly as your original copy of The
  5. Little  Black Book except that the demonstration copies have limits on
  6. the  number of times they can be used.   A demonstration  copy  allows
  7. LBB.EXE  to be loaded into memory 20 times,  BOOK.EXE may be run eight
  8. times and you may print your little black book three times.  This will
  9. let you use the program for  about a month.  All demonstration  copies
  10. are made with empty directories exactly as they were when you acquired
  11. your copy of The Little Black Book.  Data files transferred from a non
  12. demonstration copy will  not  work  with  a demonstration  copy of The
  13. Little Black Book.   This allows everyone receiving a demo copy of The
  14. Little Black Book to customize  their directories.

  16. To  make  a demonstration copy of The Little Black  Book,  select  the
  17. "Make  Demonstration Copy" entry from the main BOOK menu.   From  that
  18. point,  all  you  need to do is answer the questions  and  follow  the
  19. directions as they appear on the screen.

  21. You may be told that all the files needed to make a demonstration copy
  22. of The Little Black Book are not present.  These files were present on
  23. The  Little  Black  Book master disk when you received it.  If you get
  24. this message,  you may  find it  easiest to make demo copies from your
  25. backup diskette, which should have a complete set of all the files. If
  26. you are running in a hard  disk environment,  you may want to  re-copy
  27. files as necessary from your master or backup  diskette to keep a full
  28. set of files on your hard disk.  This will make it easier to make demo
  29. copies in the future.

  31. If there is not enough space on the disk on which you want to make the
  32. demo copy, you will be told so.  In addition, the amount of additional
  33. space  needed to make the copy will shown on the screen.   If you  are
  34. making the demo copy onto a floppy disk,  simply replace the full disk
  35. with a diskette that has available space and continue.

  37. If  any of The Little Black Book files are found on the disk  that  is
  38. going  to  be the demonstration diskette a message will appear on  the
  39. screen.  You  will  be asked if it is all right  to  over-write  these
  40. files.  If you answer "no", the demonstration copy will not be made.
