  1. UTILITIES...

  3. - FIELDS:
  4.   - You'll be expected to give each field a name (eg: "SS Number", "Spouse", 
  5. or "Salary").  If you wish to "erase" a field, just give it no name whatsoever.
  6.   - The fields also need to be categorized as Alphamumeric-type, Date-type, 
  7. Number-type, or Money-type: 
  8.   - A Date field will be allowed to hold only dates (eg: "21 JUN 91"), and 
  9. MultiTrack will check each entry into this field to make sure that it's a date.
  10. Whenever you perform hunts through the Client database, MultiTrack will ask you
  11. to specify a range of dates by which this this field will be analyzed.
  12.   - A Number field may hold only integers (eg: 1, 2, 2300), while a Money field
  13. may hold only monetary values (eg: 1.00, 2.35, 23.48).  Whenever you perform 
  14. hunts through the Client database, MultiTrack will allow you to specify a range
  15. of values by which these types of fields will be analyzed.
  16.   - Alphanumeric is any type other than a Number-, Date-, or Money-type.

  18. - DIALING PARAMETERS:  Designate the communications port through which your 
  19. modem is attached to the computer.  Also select "T"one or "P"ulse dialing, as 
  20. well as a dialing sequence that will always be sent to the modem just before a 
  21. telephone number is dialed (this sequence might be useful if you're using a PBX
  22. system).

  24. - RENAME:  If you don't like "Client", choose another name for this module.
