  6.           MILE-PRC is a program which was created to provide information to
  7.           individuals who must account for time, money and miles.  This
  8.           means an ability of transferring daily data into record format.

  10.           Some of the features of this version of MILE-PRC are:

  15.                   ■ Business Mile, Personal Miles.

  25.           MILE-PRC is a shareware product, that is to say, you are granted
  26.           a limited license to use it to determine if it will meet your
  27.           needs.  While it is impossible to ensure your honesty, I urge you
  28.           to register MILE-PRC if you find that you use it for more than 1
  29.           month.  Doing so will place you on our update mailing list
  30.  
  31.           While there is no way to compel you to register MILE-PRC, you
  32.           really will be hurting the shareware concept by not doing so.
  33.           MILE-PRC is one of the many fine programs which are developed by
  34.           programmers on a try-before-you-buy basis.  If you do not pay for
  35.           these products (pirate them), you only prompt these software
  36.           developers to stop providing software on these terms.

  38.           It is therefore my hope that you will register this and other
  39.           shareware products so that you will keep the Shareware ideal
  40.           alive and well.

  42.           Permission is granted for the transfer of the MILE-PRC package by
  43.           any means under the condition that the programs, this document,
  44.           and the Licensing document are together on the transfer medium.
  45.           What this means is that you are granted permission to transfer
  46.           this program as long as it is accompanied by this document and
  47.           the Licensing document to electronic bulletin boards (BBS's),
  48.           commercial communications services, shareware libraries, CD-ROM
  49.           libraries, or to your friends.  You are not permitted, however,
  50.           to make any changes to any of the documentation or programs
  51.           contained in the original MILE-PRC package.  You are also not
  52.           permitted to charge money for the MILE-PRC.

  55.           In order to register MILE-PRC, please print and fill out the
  56.           accompanying file REGISTER.DOC and enclose your payment ($20 (US
  57.           funds) for each copy that you are registering) payable by check
  58.           or money order to Peter R. Calendo.  Residents of New York must
  59.           add a 8% sales tax to this amount.  Remit your payment and
  60.           registration information to:

  67.           Once your payment has been received and processed, you will be
  68.           sent a new diskette containing a current release copy of MILE-PRC.  In
  69.           order to facilitate processing of your order, please write your
  70.           address information legibly.

  77.           retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means,

  79.           except in accordance with the Licensing Agreement contained in
  80.           this document, or without the express written consent of PRC

  83.           MILE-PRC is provided on an "AS IS" basis.  What this means is
  84.           that if you decide to use Mile-PRC.WK1 or Mile-PRC. it is at your
  85.           own risk.  In plain English, this means that if you use MILE-PRC
  86.           and your machine blows up, the developers and distributors of
  87.           MILE-PRC are not responsible in any fashion.  If you use MILE-PRC
  88.           and it loses all of your billing information, once again the
  89.           developers and distributors of MILE-PRC are not to be held
  90.           accountable.  While these scenarios are rather extreme in nature,
  91.           they serve to indicate that PRC Software does not warrant,
  92.           guarantee, or make any other representations regarding the use,
  93.           or results of use, of MILE-PRC or its documentation in terms of
  94.           accuracy, reliability, correctness, currentness, or otherwise.

  96.           PRC Software will not be held responsible for any direct,
  97.           indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not
  98.           limited to, damages for loss of business profits, business
  99.           interruption, loss of business information, or otherwise arising
  100.           from the use or inability to use MILE-PRC, even if PRC Software
  101.           has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
