  9. MEDLIN ACCOUNTING is a group of four companion accounting packages      
  10. which, when used together, provide full-charge accounting services very 
  11. suitable for the small to mid-sized business.                           
  12.                                                                         
  13. The first and main program, PC-GL, is a double-entry General Ledger     
  14. module.  It can be used by itself or with PC-AP -- the Accounts Payable 
  15. package.  PC-AP is an Accounts Payable program that allows a maximum of 
  16. 2000 vendors and 2000 invoices per accounting period.  PC-AR is a       
  17. menu-driven Accounts Receivable module and supports up to 2000 accounts,
  18. with up to 3000 charges and payments per period.  PC-PR is the          
  19. Payroll-Writing system.  This version includes the 1989 Federal tax     
  20. tables.

  22. NOTE:  All programs are run in RAM which accounts for their speed but   
  23. also controls how many files can be supported at a time.  Numbers of    
  24. supported accounts quoted above are based on at least 512K RAM.  Less   
  25. RAM will allow the modules to run but will support a smaller number of  
  26. accounts.
