  2. Home Inventory Item Information
  3.   In this panel, you can add or change information about
  4.   you Home Inventory.  ENTER after the Last Field, or
  5.   CTRL-ENTER combination at any time saves the record.
  6.   ESC will back up one field at a time, and CTRL-ESC will
  7.   return to the Master List.
  8.   ITEM NAME:
  9. This field is required, and identifies the
  10. ITEM by name.
  11.   DESCRIPTION: A short description of the item.
  12.   LOCATION:
  13. This field is required, and shows the location 
  14. in the home.  Use the Right and Left Cursor
  15. keys to find the proper room.
  16.   VALUE:
  17. Real or estimated value of the item.  Used
  18. on the reports.
  19.   Press ENTER for more HELP, ESC to RETURN

  22.   SERIAL NUMBER: Shown on reports, invaluable in identifying  
  23. your possesions.
  24.   COMMENTS:  Use this area to describe item in more detail,
  25. to highlight any outstanding features, or show
  26. purchase date.
  27.   Press ESC to RETURN
  28.   These are the Predefined Location Codes.  You can always  
  29.   improvise if you have to.
  30.   LR  - Living Room
  31. DEN - Den/RecRoom
  32. KIT - Kitchen
  33.   DR  - Dining Room
  34. BR1 - Main Bedroom  BR2 - 2nd Bedroom 
  35.   BR3 - 3rd Bedroom
  36. BR4 - 4th Bedroom
  37. BR5 - 5th Bedroom 
  38.   BA1 - Main Bathroom BA2 - 2nd Bathroom  OFF - Office
  39.   BAS - Basement
  40. GAR - Garage
  41. SHD - Shed
  42.   OTH - Other
  43.  WELCOME to the Home Inventory System.  Here are some basic 
  44.  things you need to know:
  45.  1.  F1 is the universal help key.  Pressing F1 will
  46. present context sensitive help.
  47.  2.  ESC will always return you to the previous level.
  48.  3.  ALWAYS back up your data.  In the event of a system
  49. crash or power failure, backed up data means saving
  50. a lot of time.
  51.  Press ESC to return to Menu.
  52. Print Options
  53. Two reports can be produced.  Move the cursor bar to
  54. select:
  55. PRINT BY NAME:  An alphabetical list of all items
  56. PRINT BY LOCATION:  A room by room listing of all
  57. items
  58. Home Inventory Master Listing
  59.   This screen allows you to ADD, CHANGE, or DELETE items
  60.   from the Inventory file.
  61.   ITEM LOCATOR: Type as many letters as needed to position  
  62. the list to the item to be editted.
  63.   INS Key: Use the INSERT key to add a record
  64.   DEL Key: Use the DELETE key to request an item to
  65. delete.  A confirming screen will appear,
  66. ENTER then completes the deletion.
  67.   ENTER Key:  This will cause the current record (at
  68. highlight bar) to appear for changes.
