WHAT IS GAS & OIL
This program is for people that are on the road every day, and
they collect gas receipts and put them in the glove compartment
or a box until it is full and running over.
You enter your receipts as you take them out of the box.
The program will sort them out month for month, and then sort
each month in numerical order.
It then adds up each month and then adds the months together for
a grand total.
You can request to see a month on the screen or the entire year
can be printed, it prints three months on a sheet of paper there
for it takes four sheet for a year.it can be set for continuous
form or single sheet.

USING GAS & OIL
After loading the program there will be a heading at the top of
the screen, and a menu in the middle of the screen.
1 - INPUT DATA
If there is nothing in the heading then you will be in the
name line after entering the name, s.s.no. ,year, veh no.
there will be a window to enter the date and amount.
continue to enter the receipts until done. (ESC) Will put
you back to the menu. (enter ESC in the date box) if you
should enter a duplicate date the program will ask you to
verify it.
I would suggest as you enter the receipts you put them in
piles according to the months. In that way you are
separating the months and also it's easy to see if you
have a duplicate receipt.
If it is a duplicate date ans. Y the program will add
this amount to the amount for that date.
You can enter receipts, save the file, reload the file and
enter more receipts.
If you have more than one Veh. then you can have two files
for the year, one Veh. = 01 and the other Veh. = 02
( If you made a mistake entering data (see #6))
2 - SAVE TO DISK
You will be asked to enter a letter for the drive that the
file will be saved on ( just the letter). You can not enter
a path. The file will be saved with the year and Veh. No.
( Like 198901.FIL)
3 - LOAD FROM DISK
You will be asked to enter a letter for the drive, then the
YEAR, and then the VEH NO.
4 - PRINT TO PRINTER
You will get a message line asking if the printer is turned
on. After this, there is a menu.
1 - ENTER PRINTER CODES
I put this in the program in case you need to
put a code in the printer. You won't be able
to put codes in to under line , etc.
(I have a printer that will only print double
spaces. so I enter a single space code and it
works fine.)
The odd numbers (RED) is just a line to tell
you what the code is for.
The even numbers (WHITE) are for the code.
Just enter the code numbers separated by a
comma (Like 27,53,0)
Page 3
Number 11 will bring up page 2, these are the codes for
the character to be used to make up the matrix for each
month of the year.
If you do not have these on your printer or if you do not
want to use them then put a zero in each one.
2 - CONTINUOUS FORM PAPER
3 - SINGLE SHEET PAPER
4 - CANCEL
5 - PRINT
5 - NEW FILE
If you are going to work on more then one file then use
this to clear memory before working on the next file.
There is no checking on this so be careful with this one
or you could clear all your work (MAD MAD MAD).
Save your file first.
6 - SEE MONTH ON SCREEN
You will be asked which month you want to see. Enter the
first three letters of the month.
It will print that month on the screen and give the total
for the month and also the grand total for the year.
You can also delete a day if you made a mistake when you
entered it.
7 - END PROGRAM
This will end the program and also save the codes for the
printer, if you have enter any. The file for this is
PRCODE.FIL
so don't delete this file.
I hope you understand this and I also hope you can use this program
