  205.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the
  206.      planning of their CAPITAL NEEDS (Financial Situation if Deceased).
  207.      Insurance is usually used to cover any shortages in these needs. Amounts
  208.      of Insurance should be based on covering exposed risk and not some
  209.      arbitrary formula such as X% or X times earnings. The optimum situation
  210.      is not needing any insurance because your savings and investment assets
  211.      would cover any exposed risk. This program will help analyse your
  212.      situation and if deficient, suggest the appropriate amounts of insurance
  213.      or change in capital that is required.
  214.  
  215.      Capital Needs is a professional term used for the determination of
  216.      financial needs in case of death. Most often, life insurance is used to
  217.      cover any exposed risk. It is important to have enough to cover the risk,
  218.      but usually not a very good investment vehicle to have extra. Premium cost
  219.      savings can be used to increase savings and investments. The optimum goal
  220.      is to have other than insurance available to cover your risk exposure.
  221.      Questions about life insurance should be directed to an experienced
  222.      insurance representative.

  224.      This program is always being revised because of changes in the tax laws
  225.      and improvement suggestions from users.
  226.  
  227.      If Capital Needs Planning is important to you, then registration of
  228.      this program is a valuable asset for your over-all financial planning.

  288.  (This program has two main Modes, DEMONSTRATION and REGULAR. Suggest review
  289.      of the DEMONSTRATION Mode before using the REGULAR Mode.)

  291.    1. At the Introduction Screen, choose the AUTOMATIC PRESENTATION (Type 1
  292.       and Press Return). After reviewing each screen, Press Return to Continue
  293.       until you reach the end of the program. This is a quick general review
  294.       of the programs features and benefits.

  296.    2. After the end of the Automatic Presentation, the MAIN MENU will reappear
  297.       as just the Demonstration Mode. You may choose any item desired for
  298.       for furthur review. You should, as a minimum, review menu items not
  299.       presented during the Automatic Presentation.

  301.    3. Use the REGULAR MODE of the program. At MAIN MENU choose # 3 Utilities
  302.       Option Menu. At Utilities Option Menu choose Option # 1 to INPUT USER

  304.       program will then allow for your input and computation of the analysis.

  408.      planning software to professionals (Financial Planners, Stockbrokers,
  409.      Insurance Agents, CPA's, etc.) since 1982. Our commercial program, FPLAN,
  410.      covers all aspects of personal financial planning from investments to
  411.      insurance. Because of the need for an organized approach to financial
  412.      planning and to make it available to more people, we have decided to
  413.      provide various FPLAN modules as Shareware.

  415.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the

  550.      Preliminary Financial Analysis. This analysis will be performed by a
  551.      Certified Financial Planner. It will cover the following financial areas:

  553.      Income & Expense, Balance Sheet (Assets & Liabilities), Economic
  554.      Assumptions, College Education Planning, Retirement, Capital Needs
  555.      (Life Insurance), Estate Planning and Disability Income Planning.

  557.      If you desire to do this (or just completing the questionnaire is a good
  558.      financial experience), print the 8 page questionnaire and submit it with
  559.      the Order Form (Main Menu Option 4) and fee. We will process your plan and
  560.      send you a printed report. After you review the report, we can discuss it
  561.      by phone. Please insure you note convenient time to call on the FPLAN

  695. a professional term used for the determination of financial needs in case
  696. of death. Most often, life insurance is used to cover any exposed risk. It
  697. is important to have enough to cover the risk, but usually not a very good
  698. investment vehicle to have extra. Premium cost savings can be used to increase
  699. savings and investments. The optimum goal is to have other than insurance
  700. available to cover your risk exposure.

  702.      For the Demonstration version, the data will already be noted as a sample.
  703. In the sample case, the current situation shows a capital shortage of $228,409.
  704. For the Proposed situation, we increased personal life insurance $150,000 and
  705. converted $12,000 insurance cash value to an annuity. We decreased the funding
  706. for education and increased the emergency fund as death expense items. These
  707. actions and the reduction of the marginal tax bracket allows for the goal to
  708. be reached.
