FLEX NOTES

FLEX NOTES is a memory resident program. To load type 'NOTES' at the
DOS prompt. FLEX NOTES can not be loaded twice.
To Activate: press the Left_Shift_Key and the Control key at the same time.
(FLEX NOTES will not activate if you are in graphics mode.)
When active:
F1 = Help....Displays help screen at bottom of screen.
F2 = Save....Saves all notes in memory to disk. Default name \NOTES.FLX.
F3 = Auto....Togles autosave mode. When on, your notes will be saved when you
exit. They will save under the name you loaded them from.
F4 = Load....Load notes from disk to memory. Default name \NOTES.FLX.
When you first start FLEX NOTES it will look for \NOTES.FLX
and load it.
F5 = Next....Display the next note on the screen.
F6 = Prev....Display the previous note on the screen.
F7 = Seek....Search for a note. You enter a key and Flex Notes finds the
first note containing that key. The key can be: part of a
word, a whole word, or a group of words.
F8 = Rept....Repeat the last search. After doing a search to find the next
note containing the same key just press F8.
F9 = New.....Find the first blank note.
F10= Erase...Erase the current note.
Home = Send cursor to the upper left corner.
End = Send cursor to the end of a line.
Tab = 5 spaces.
Arrow keys to move cursor.
Ins. = Insert togle.
Esc. = Return to your current program.
USES:
Use to keep phone messages or even a phone directory with little
facts about the last time you talked them. It can be used as a memory
residenet address book. It comes in handy in keeping notes about
anything because you can retrieve them in an instant, even if you only
remember part of the name or key.
Put a key word anywhere in your notes to bring like items up quickly
exp. (put TODO on all your to do notes. Then search for TODO to find
the first one and F8 to find the rest.)
