Transcription: An important rule to remember in Transport Tycoon is that any station placed directly adjacent to another station, either side by side or on a diagonal, only counts as one station total for the accounting purposes of the game. But that does not include depots. If they are adjacent, they will count as part of the larger facility, but you can't use them in a daisy chain with other stations. Note that when I plop the railroad stations down, I've left myself two squares free coming out the back so that I can later lay track out the other end of the station.
