  11.     Q-DOS 3 has made file and disk management very simple.  Copy, Move,
  12. Erase, Rename files and directories with ease.  You can even move a whole
  13. directory and its subdirectories to another location with a few keystrokes.
  14. Find files quickly; change attributes of files; view and edit text file
  15. with the built-in G-Edit; even UNERASE files.

  18.     This is another small program, which comes with both 5.25" and 3.5"
  19. diskettes.  Installation is a breeze and only takes several minutes.  Q-DOS
  20. 3 is fully configurable from the menu bar and editor to the colors.  All
  21. can be changed to suit your tastes, and can be done very easily by even the
  22. novice user.

  25.     Q-DOS 3 has full mouse support and works with Windows 3.1.  It does
  26. NOT work in the OS/2 2.0 DOS box.  I have recently read a review of Q-DOS 3
  27. on-line where another writer erroneously stated that it does work in OS/2.
  28. Evidently that writer does not have OS/2.

  31.     G-Edit, the Q-DOS 3 built-in text editor will edit a file up to 1MB;
  32. or you can load up to five files in, and switch between them, move and
  33. resize the windows and much more.  G-Edit will even bring up your last
  34. session the next time you start it.  This feature can be turned off if you
  35. so desire.

  38.     "Pruning and Grafting," is the feature whereby you move a directory
  39. from one location to another.  This is a visual move, not one requiring any
  40. typing.  You highlight the directory you wish to move and press P for
  41. prune.  Next you move the arrow key to place the highlight where you want
  42. the new directory to reside.  It is that easy.  Files are handled in a
  43. similar fashion, you tag files you wish to copy, move, etc.  Then press
  44. the key on the bar, and again you see the information.  No guessing
  45. involved.

  48.     When you first start Q-DOS 3 you see a screen that has Fkey commands
  49. on the left and file list on the right.  On the top is the menu bar with
  50. its commands, while on the bottom is the date and time.  This screen can be
  51. changed by using the Layout option. You can set it up as follows:

  53.         FileXFile -- File by File splits the screen with 2 file lists
  54. side by side.

  56.         DirXFile -- This shows you the directory tree on the left with
  57. the file list on the right.

  60.      Q-DOS 3 even provides you with information on your drives and system.
  61. The SPACE command shows you the bytes on your drive, and breaks it down
  62. into total of disk, used and free.  QDMEMMAP is a program that is included
  63. with Q-DOS 3. You can run it from a DOS prompt or from within Q-DOS 3. Here
  64. you get information about the memory on your system, how it is
  65. allocated, device drivers installed and much more.
