  2. CREEP CLASH & SENTO from 47-Tek

  7. Two different games, well maybe not.  These two combat games have the same
  8. engine.  They are both fighting games from ancient times, a one on one
  9. duel.

  11. CREEP CLASH

  13. In the land of Eternal Night, where you find the creepiest things, there is
  14. a leadership battle going on.  Somebody has to open the Great Door to the
  15. land of the living on Hallowe'en night.  The contestants are Pumpkin Pyre,
  16. a hollowed pumpkin that breathes flames, Lugtwig Van Vampirebat, a bat with
  17. a deadly gaze, Frankenclod, a Frankenstein look-a-like with a rocket pack on
  18. his back to allow him to fly and screech the Demon Spawn.  All these
  19. creatures are flying or floating in the air.  You may choose any one of them
  20. for either player.  You can also practice against the computer.  The
  21. combination of the different movements, attacks and jumps are numerous
  22. (if you do not want to destroy your keyboard, you had better have a
  23. joystick).  You can also choose from three or four points of view. The game
  24. supports common sound cards and, quite unusual, a MGA graphics board.  The
  25. game in itself is not very attractive.  The decor is almost nonexistent, the
  26. monsters are too simple (an arm is made of two big pieces), but they are
  27. well textured.  Maybe it is this simplicity that allows the game to be fast.

  30. SENTO

  32. In the first age, Two Sento Masters forged the way of battle, honor of steel
  33. and martial order.  There are four players from which to choose:  Buzakai
  34. Kuragari, a Ninja Captain; Aughrax the immovable; SparickLath-Tow; and
  35. Hoardos Korsh the Headtaker.  You must prove that you are the best.

  37. In this game the fighting area is limited.  The players are on the ground,
  38. and if you fall of the ground you will die.  Parts of the battle grounds are
  39. surrounded by a fence which restrains you from falling.  Each fighter has
  40. his own ground with his own decor and fence type.  The game is slightly
  41. better than "Creep Clash", but is quite similar in style.

  43. I was quite impressed by the introductions of both games in which the
  44. characters were presented.  The smooth animation with the travelling into
  45. corridors and rooms have better graphics than the game in itself.

  51. It is a martial combat game.  The "Creep Clash" is designed for children (no
  52. blood scenes) with Hallowe'en monsters.  In "Sento" you can choose a violent
  53. version or a no-blood type version.  The game is simple but fast.  I have
  54. already seen better martial combat games.
