  9. From about the seventh epoch (Ithink) you can do it. Go into the 
  10. defense screen at the castle you wish to hibernate and if you can 
  11. do it then there should be another icon to click on (looks a bit 
  12. like a womans head) and click on it. It is late on in the game and 
  13. don't forget to leave at least one of your castles free otherwise 
  14. you lose the island. Try to put 999 me into the castle before you 
  15. do it though, as I once had almost 3000 men frozen in one game but 
  16. still ended up with only a handful in the mother battle.
