  4. Utility discs listed here, general utilities etc...

  6. Disc   1: Any of the slideshow discs can be edited to make
  7.           your own slideshow. I would say you need at 
  8.           least some experience of working within CLI
  9.           beforehand.

  11. Disc  38: Icon Development Disc - now vastly improved !!
  12.           Contains dozens of icons, and lots of Icon utility
  13.           programs. Includes SHOWIZ (IFF/Text show utility)
  14.           Icon Maker, IFF 2 Icon, Iconizer, Xicon, 
  15.           Brush 2 Icon, Split Icon, Icon Type, Iff_icon,
  16.           Zapicon, Icon Image, Icon Lab (NEW V1.1) and
  17.           Icon Merge. Great for icon fans, full info on
  18.           all programs...

  20. Disc  66: First of the CLI utility discs - this one boots
  21.           up by itself and as well as featuring all the 
  22.           usual CLI commands it features:Arc,Ask,bars,
  23.           boot control,browser2,Bandit Killer,Cls,Compack
  24.           Diskman,Discsalv,Diskx,Diskutil5,Dme,Funckey,
  25.           Gomf,Killer,Monitor,Mycli,PLay,PLay2,Scrnblkr,
  26.           Setmap,Shift,Show,Sonix_play,Soundhack,Sysmon,
  27.           Virus test,Warm Reset,Warp.
  28.           Note that this disc is a CLI disc and as such
  29.           is used through CLI ONLY!

  31. Disc  72: This utility disc comprises of Arc (file crunch
  32.           and packing utility for data transmission and
  33.           storage. Doshelper, a great utility that gives
  34.           you the syntax of all CLI commands quickly.
  35.           Funckey - A great program that allows you to 
  36.           edit the function keys with character strings.
  37.           Overscan - A small animation package including 
  38.           examples. Slide - a slideshow program enabling
  39.           you to create your own shows. Sprited - a small
  40.           sprite editor. Sysmonitor - System Monitor.
  41.           Documentation included.

  43. Disc  73: This disc contains: Asm - a cli based assembler
  44.           although you will need Blink which is on disc 
  45.           134. Browser - allows you to look at multiple
  46.           Ascii files at once. MCad - a small CAD package.
  47.           Clock - 4 different versions of a new clock
  48.           program with multiple features. FontED - Font
  49.           editing utility. Brushes for use with the Mcad
  50.           package (electronics based) and Silicon, a new
  51.           Console for CLI.

  53. Disc  74: This disc features: Dirmaster - disc catalogue
  54.           system. Big-view - for viewing very large iff
  55.           files. Egraph - scientific graph plotter.
  56.           Mandelvroom - a mandelbrot fractal picture
  57.           generator. Newzap - excellent disc/file editor.
  58.           Perfect Sound - utility to load, edit and play
  59.           digitised sound. Planet - a utility that wraps
  60.           an IFF file around a ball. Supermort - a 
  61.           mortgage calculator etc. Zoo - file packer a
  62.           little like ARC.

  64. Disc  75: More utilities: Address and calender organizers
  65.           written in Amiga basic (included) and are very
  66.           good. Fpic - graphics processor. Dosplus 1 & 2
  67.           which is a series of CLI utilites to be added 
  68.           to the C dir (areacode,asc,Autonote,bit,chr,
  69.           col,conv,dictionary,fixed,help,input,lock,math,
  70.           print,timer,unlock,wc). Journal - records all
  71.           mouse input and then allows you to replay it,
  72.           great for demos. Playback, the play routine 
  73.           for journal. X-Spell - spelling checker.

  75. Disc 133: A disc full of sample programs taken from 
  76.           various discs. Includes a playable demo of
  77.           Shanghai and the Cosmos game. 6 Amiga basic
  78.           programs (Flightsim,Huepallette,Requester,
  79.           Scrolldemo,Synthesizer and World Map) are also
  80.           included. Included also are:Brush2icon, converts
  81.           a Dpaint brush file to an icon. DpaintX picture
  82.           viewing utility. DiscUtilityIII. Flight Sim II
  83.           text files, get more out of FS2. 2 HAM pictures.
  84.           A new clock, 2 pointer utils (mouseclock/mouse
  85.           cycle), Popcli and Slider. Good introductory 
  86.           disc for people new to PD.

  88. Disc 134: 2nd of the Cli utility discs, this one based
  89.           around the ARP (Amigados replacement project)
  90.           which is in short a much faster alternative to
  91.           the standard CLI. As well as the ARC 'c' cli
  92.           commands this disc contains BLINK, the freely
  93.           available Linker for use with Assemblers etc.
  94.           Said to be much better than the commercial
  95.           Alink available from Commodore.Bootwriter for
  96.           writing bootblocks (unsurprisingly).CLED,Conman,
  97.           Crunch,Disksalv,Guardian,IconEd,Texed,Smush,
  98.           Zapicon,Zoo.

  100. Disc 146: Super Cli Disc! For use as a cli disc plus
  101.           as a premium utility disc. All accessed from
  102.           a menu, disc includes:Arc,Big,Boot,Bootwriter,
  103.           Boot Control,Crunch,Disksalv,Fastload,VirusX,
  104.           Cliwiz (superb Cli replacement program),
  105.           DirUtility,DiskX (disc editor),Texteditor,
  106.           UmUtil/Utilimas,Viewboot. Highly reccomended
  107.           if you didnt get the starter-pack or the
  108.           Quickstart pack.

  110. Disc 151: Three excellent utilities here, Bank N - a 
  111.           complete banking package, look after your 
  112.           pennies! Dirmaster - superb disc catalogue
  113.           system. Also Turbo-backup, a really fast and
  114.           reliable copier for backing up non-protected
  115.           discs, we use it in the office!

  117. Disc 173: This disc features an adventure creator system,
  118.           AmiGazer (Stargazing program),Chess,Othello,
  119.           Printext,Printer Driver Generator.
  120.           ** DOES NOT contain Space as demo, as stated on 
  121.           last disk cat, dont know how that happened, 
  122.           SORRY!! ehem  ***

  124. Disc 174: Contains Amcat (disc cataloging system),
  125.           AmigaSpell (text spelling checker) ASDG-RRD a
  126.           nice recoverable ramdisc (ie survives a reset),
  127.           Blackbook memo pad, DX Synth voice librarian 
  128.           (Midi), Hexcalc & Icon Type utility.

  130. Disc 222: Ram/Disc manager. If you have 1meg you will have
  131.           realised that every now and again a program turns
  132.           up that causes problems with expanded memory 
  133.           (this is due to the way the amiga handles its data)
  134.           Well this program allows you to turn the extra 
  135.           memory off until you turn off. Very useful, 
  136.           positioned in the bootblock for quick and easy 
  137.           access. Also included is a program that allows you
  138.           to determine which drive you can boot from, 
  139.           ie. you can set df1: to act as the internal drive
  140.           and boot from it. Unfortunatly the disc manager
  141.           will not work with issue 1.3 machines although 
  142.           the ram manager does.

  144. Disc 243: Utility disc comprising of Disksalv (lastest 
  145.           version) which is a superb disc salvager for 
  146.           people with hard-drives or more than one drive.
  147.           Directory Util version 6, excellent cli utility
  148.           - move files with ease. 60 or 80 - switch between
  149.           modes at the flick of an icon. Screenzap - clear
  150.           up screens not being used. 
  151.           Nag - clever appointment calendar with full 
  152.           features including speech etc.
  153.           Icon fun/iconizer/snap - build a library of 
  154.           pointers and swap between them at will!

  156. Disc 247: This utility disc contains the X series of 
  157.           programs, Disk X (great disc editor), Screen X 
  158.           (grab screens with this utility), Task X 
  159.           (control your amiga`s tasks), and Virus X. 
  160.           Memo Pad is also included (a very nicely
  161.           done application), Dmouse (mouse accelerator),
  162.           Quickbase (address database) and Makeanim 
  163.           (for creating animation files easily using IFF 
  164.           files and a simple script).

  166. Disc 265: Home Utils. Includes a word processor
  167.           (Wordwright) including full instructions and is
  168.           ready to run, and a simple spreadsheet program 
  169.           which unfortunatly has no instructions but we 
  170.           included it non-the-less.

  172. Disc 505: Paul Kolenbranders Freeware Collection!
  173.           An excellent disc composed of 17 utilities and
  174.           tools written by Paul and his good friend Peter
  175.           Van Leuvan.These include Smuscopy, Smus Info,
  176.           Makeplay, MakeCopy, Pic View, PicFind, Jump,
  177.           LVR, Patch Load Seg, Virus Killer, Virus Hunter,
  178.           IFF2Ex, ASCII2Ex, Mod2Ex, Modules. These do a
  179.           variety of things such as display info about a
  180.           smus/sonix file, prepare a play file for the
  181.           sonix PLAY utility etc Contains THE best picture
  182.           viewer that does all modes etc. Also utilities
  183.           to convert an IFF picture to a program, 
  184.           soundtracker modules to a program etc VERY good!
  185.           All fully documented, each has a number and all
  186.           you type is 'explain x` where x is the number of
  187.           the program. Knowledge of CLI required to move
  188.           and use the programs. NO ICONS!
