INDEX ENTRY FOR SPACEGRIPE:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Name: spacegripe - Identifies disk hogs
Version: N/A
Author(s): Michael Bernstein, Qualcomm <michaelb@qualcomm.com>
On the CD-ROM in: sysadm/space.tar
Ftp source: N/A
Size on the CD: 31 KB (uncompressed)
Description:
Spacegripe is a PERL script that examines each home directory tree
on its "homes" list and does a df (1) on each filesystem specified.
If the percentage (kilobytes, not inodes) used is greater than the
"threshold", it goes through the filesystem using quot (1) on each
home directory in the "homes" list. If the "warnem" flag is set
(default is false), a warning message is sent to the user. A list of
all the users who are using more than "limit" blocks is compiled, along
with the total disk used by all such users in a given directory tree.
