  27.    C-News is a reimplementation of the transport and storage
  28.    subsystems of the news software -- basically, everything
  29.    except news readers.  We supply a simple news reader (written
  30.    by Michael Rourke, included by permission, slightly modified
  31.    [so bugs are probably our fault]) as a replacement for B-News
  32.    readnews suited to use by occasional users.  For regular news
  33.    users, there are several more sophisticated readers widely
  34.    available, and all should work with C News.  We use Larry
  35.    Wall's "rn" ourselves; we have not included it because this
  36.    distribution is already rather big.
