  25.     I needed to know how much data was pumping through our combined
  26.     Netscape Proxy server (internal proxy) and Squid Internet Object
  27.     server (external proxy) so that I could better monitor our
  28.     Internet connection and machine  load. To that end I modified a
  29.     set of perl scripts written by Duane Wessels that originally
  30.     gathered the relevant statistics from the Squid logfiles and
  31.     presented them in an ascii format. I modified the scripts to
  32.     generate  HTML pages with a snazzy bargraph and sets of
  33.     associated tables.
