This prototype application, Siddhartha, is intended to help students get a sense of the life and times of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism. A map of the Ganges valley, the homeland of the Buddha, is used to navigate through information on his life. Note that only four of the cities on the map have been connected up with information (images and texts). The rest remains to be done. Another drawback is that I haven't incorporated sound into the application, which is a definite desideratum.
On more problem worth mentioning. This program was put together before the change from "Request" to "Services" in the menu (i.e., it was written under 1.0). I haven't had time to update this, so it can cause problems (i.e., sometimes, after searching a term in either Websters or Digital Librarian, the program crashes).
