This application introduces students to some of the concepts that are important for understanding the use of microscopes as well as those that are pertinent to understanding differences between plant and animal cells. In the series of exercises in this program, the students review the components of two different types of microscopes, are introduced to the concept of field of view, and begin to learn to identify structural features of plant and animal cells.
Bio210Lab2 is used as a pre-lab exercise for Introductory Biology at Allegheny College.
