AC CHEN
Programming by Stefan Preuss, Grafix by Thorsten Mutschall
A short introduction: The aim of the game is to clear the board. To do so,
select two stones with the same symbol on them. If the stones are next to
each other or you can connect them with a line that has a maximum of two
corners they will disappear. If you play the game for just a few
minutes you will quickly understand the rules.

Version 1.8a Copyright 1992, Sledge & Hammer Software, Last change : 15.05.92
INSTALLATION:
- copy AcChen.tar into /tmp
- open a Terminal window
- if you do a global (systemwide) installation:
- su root
- cd /LocalApps
else
- cd to ~/Apps
- execute "tar xvpf /tmp/AcChen.tar"
This will leave a folder AcChen.app containing the executable AND your
highscore file (with global write-permission) in your {Local}Apps folder.
RELEASE NOTES:
This is a maintenance release ;-) adding a few features:
- 10 Highscores are saved
- You can set & save your preferences (noise annoyance level, etc)
- Timer and noise stops, when app hidden or miniaturized
- All tiff files are compressed now, game size <400k
But fixing these bugs:
- Unofficial cheat mode (holding down the right mouse-button) is gone
- Game stops promptly at time 0
- Number of crashes greatly reduced
- Cursor save/restore doesn't mess up the screen anymore
- Waste of CPU cycles in-between levels fixed
Leaving a few topics still open:
- Color tiles from the original AMIGA version
- Prevent others from being better than me
Your positive, constructive feedback was and is greatly appreciated.
Stay tuned!
Peter.
