Ising Model uses the Monto Carlo algorithm described by Landau and Alben to simulate the approach to thermal equilibrium of a two dimensional spin system. A finite boundary is assumed. A future version of this program will incorporate periodic boundary conditions and other algorithms. See the following article for a description of the Ising system: D. P. Landau and R. Alben, American Journal of Physics, Vol 41. p 394-400 (1973)
All graphs in the Ising Model have are rendered using the GraphView palette developed at Davidson College. This NeXTStep object is in the public domain for non-commercial educations use. It can be found in another directory on this CD-ROM.
