We visited with Ted Selker, the man who invented the Track Point mouse, in his lab at IBM's Almaden Research Center to discuss what he's been working on lately, the future of mobile computing, and the values and dangers of agents. In addition to his work at IBM, Selker teaches a post-graduate class on interface design at Stanford University and is a former Xerox PARC research specialist.
