  11. This release contains information about the 30 Day Trial version of
  12. PC-cillin II.

  14. Technical Notes:
  15.  
  16.    * The 30 Day Trial version of PC-cillin II will only install under
  17.      Windows 95.
  18.    * TouchStone will not be offering an unlock code to unlock the product.
  19.      Users must call
  20.      1-800-932-5566 to place an order. A full copy of PC-cillin II will be
  21.      shipped to the customer.
  22.    * The customer is referred to "call the faxback system at (714) 969-7746
  23.      and press 4" to obtain technical support information and tips. This
  24.      information is included in the Readme file, the Help file, and the
  25.      TECH.TXT file (accessed from the About dialog).

  27. 30 Day Trial Limitations:
  28.  
  29.    * The customer can only update the pattern file via floppy. Pressing the
  30.      Internet and BBS buttons will produce the message "You are using a
  31.      trial version of PC-cillin II. This function is not available! Please
  32.      call 1-800-932-5566 to order a fully functional version".
  33.    * The customer cannot use the Subscribe button to subscribe for future
  34.      pattern updates. Pressing the Subscribe button will produce the "You
  35.      are using a trial versionà" message.
  36.    * The customer cannot use the Unlock feature for pattern updates.
  37.      Pressing the Unlock button will produce the "You are using a trial
  38.      versionà" message.
  39.    * The customer cannot register the 30 Day Trial version. Pressing the
  40.      Register button will produce the "You are using a trial versionà"
  41.      message.
  42.    * The customer cannot use the Virus Lab feature. Pressing the æEnter the
  43.      Virus Lab:Æ link on the Internet Virus Lab page will produce the "You
  44.      are using a trial versionà" message.
  45.    * All Virus Doctor features (Send to Doctor, Get From Doctor, Attach
  46.      File) will produce the "You are using a trial versionà" message.
  47.    * Macro Defense is not installed into the customerÆs \Winword\Startup
  48.      directory.
