  8. This file describes normal sound driver installation procedures for
  9. Windows 95.  Use these procedures when installing the Creative
  10. Technologies SB 16 & AWE 32 drivers provided in this directory.
  11.  
  12. DRIVER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
  13.      
  14.       Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
  15.  
  16.       Start the "System" applet program. 
  17.  
  18.       Select the "Device Manager" page.
  19.  
  20.       Double click on "Sound, video and game controllers".
  21.  
  22.       Select the "Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16 or AWE-32" entry.
  23.  
  24.       Push the "Properties" button.
  25.  
  26.       Select the "Driver" page.
  27.  
  28.       Push the "Change Driver" button.
  29.  
  30.       Push the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".

  32.       Specify the path to the new driver and press the <ENTER>

  35.           Example 1: Insert the drivers disk in the A: floppy drive,
  36.                      and enter A:\.
  37.  
  38.           Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied
  39.                      the drivers, either on your local hard drive or
  40.                      on a network share.
  41.  
  42.           Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the drivers are,
  43.                      choose the "Browse..." button to find them.
  44.  
  45.       The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the adapter that
  46.       corresponds to the one you installed in your machine and click OK.
  47.  
  48.       Windows 95 will copy the sound drivers to the proper directories
  49.       on your system.
