This month we have yet another collection of high-quality PCX graphic files. (Maybe in a future month we'll publish some low-quality graphic files just for a change of pace, but we're not doing it this time!) As with all the and art we supply on Softdisk PC, you can use these images for whatever purposes you wish - just don't copy them for others or resell them.
This month: Walk like an Egyptian with these images of Egypt. We hope this "pyramid scheme" doesn't have you saying "'E gypped me!" How's that for a plausible de-Nile?
There are 24 files in this collection:
AMONRE.PCX ANUBIS1.PCX ANUBIS2.PCX ANUBIS3.PCX
CAMEL1.PCX CAMEL2.PCX COBRA.PCX DJSOER.PCX
EGPGIRL.PCX HATSHPST.PCX HIROGLIF.PCX KINGTUT.PCX
LAMP.PCX MASK.PCX MASK2.PCX MCASE1.PCX
MCASE2.PCX MYCERINS.PCX NILE.PCX RAMESES.PCX
SCARAB.PCX SOLDIER.PCX SPHINX.PCX VULTURE.PCX
PCX clip art is in a standardized format that is accepted by most art programs and desktop publishing software, so you can use these images to enliven your newsletters, greeting cards, posters, and anything else you create on your computer.
We didn't have room to publish our PCX viewer program this time, but if you have PCXVIEW.EXE from an earlier issue (it last appeared on #94), you can use it to look at these images, or you can view them with any other program that handles PCX graphics, including our own DOS Manager (last published on issue 94, with an updated version coming soon on a future issue).
