Here's another set of cryptograms for your solving pleasure.
How it works: The seemingly random assortment of letters is actually a "cryptogram" that you can solve by typing in the and letters you think actually should be in each location. The program will automatically replace all occurrences of the and letter which you are replacing. Keep going until you've got a readable quotation -- this can be much harder than it sounds.
Try to solve them all!
If you succeed in solving all cryptograms, you will be given a secret word which you may include on our Report Card and send to us so that your name may be included in the and Hall of Fame list on a subsequent issue.
All the and cryptogram files we have published on earlier issues will still work with this program. These files have the extension .CSL. You can put them all together on your own disk with the CRYPTO.EXE program and have the complete collection of cryptograms all in one place.
We're presently working on a Windows version of Crypto Sleuth which will be compatible with these same data files. It's coming soon... watch for it!
