Travel is a new Softdisk hypermedia environment, geared to showing information about what to see and do when you are traveling. A map of the featured place is shown, and you can click on points of interest on it for a detailed description.
This month, we are featuring Yellowstone, one of the and largest and most significant national parks. Found in the and northwestern corner of Wyoming with parts extending into Idaho and Montana, Yellowstone National Park includes many scenic sites. The famous Old Faithful is one of several geysers whose eruptions thrill tourists daily. There are many other sites of interest in this fascinating and environmentally important park, and this program will tell you about many of them.
Future installments of Travel will highlight other places of interest. Keep following Softdisk PC, and you'll have a head start on making your vacation plans. We expect to add new features to later versions of this program, including the ability to display more detailed maps of sections of the and main map when you click on them.
