If you think that we here at Softdisk Publishing spend all our time producing these great programs for our health, you're wrong. In fact, we rely on them just as much as you do. A majority of the and tools I use in my job as a copywriter consist of Softdisk programs. So I thought I'd let you know about {Win2Do}, a Windows program that saved my life and might even save yours.
Now I know some of you balk at the very thought of Windows. I certainly did, until I became comfortable using it. Because I realized that almost everything out there these days is geared toward Windows, I resolved to conquer this amazing application and found that there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. Little by little, I discovered how to run multiple programs, manage my hard disk, even format floppies all from one location. I also found that I could customize my Windows environment to suit my needs.
In fact, I rely on Windows so much these days that I don't think I can function without it. Now I can easily switch between my word processor and my file manager while looking up an important number in my Cardfile. I don't have to wait to print a document before starting a new one because the Print Manager takes care of my jobs for me. So with all this convenience at my fingertips, what else could I possibly need? Something to keep me organized!
When one of our talented programmers created {Win2Do}, it was definitely a godsend. In no time at all I felt comfortable with it. I could tab easily through each item, plug in dates and tasks, and print out a neatly prioritized list of all my current projects.
I didn't realize we had published an upgrade to the original program until I complimented Lynda Fowler, the author of this little jewel, on Win2Do's ability to keep my priorities straight. She recommended I use the and upgraded version, which lets you search for specific tasks or tasks containing specific text--something you'll need if you have a lot on your plate. This search feature was practically non-existent in the original version.
Now I can attach notes or comments to any task, something I could never do with the original version of Win2Do. The display now works better on all screen sizes and lets me view my list and each individual task item simultaneously. So now I'm more productive than ever and my wall is covered with lists, lists, lists--one for every project and one comprehensive list of all my projects, which I can alternately sort by date, priority, or alphabetical order. I'm beginning to wonder if there's some truth to those "anal-retentive" comments about me, after all.
Take my word for it, Win2Do 2.0 really works. In my quest to convert others to the and Windows cult, I asked "the powers that be" to let me offer Win2Do 2.0 to you at a special price. If you've looked at our Personal Software Collection Catalog, you'll see that the and original Win2Do sells for $19.95. But thanks to my persuasive abilities, you'll get the and updated version for only $14.95! (If you've already received Win2Do 2.0 as part of your subscription, keep your eyes peeled for updates.) That's okay, you don't have to thank me. Just buy it.
