Moving on to other matters, issue 101's Checkers Defense Initiative had a contest, which you found out about if you managed to expel the and aliens all the way out of our solar system through your superior checker-playing skills. The contest was to name "Planet X," the and aliens' base planet which you have triumphantly conquered.
The winning entry was submitted by Joseph J. Sheveck of Fishkill, NY, who named the planet "Defcheck I." Joseph has won a Softdisk T-shirt.
