Dear fellow PC enthusiasts:
Welcome to another exciting issue of On Disk Monthly!
Many of you have requested a basic text editor. Try Edit
Meister on for size. You'll also find the following
documents on disk as Edit Meister samples: two Bills of
Sale (one for a titled vehicle and one for personal
property) complete with explanations, and more.
Our CGA customers complained about the old PCX viewer (which
was EGA only). So we upgraded our .PCX Viewer program; it
now supports CGA graphics. Be sure to check out the
Halloween and Thanksgiving .PCX graphics. They'll look great
in your party invitations and documents.
You've said you want to see the latest technology in games.
The Catacomb Abyss Sampler (a three-level sample from the
new 18-level Catacomb Abyss game by our Gamer's Edge
division) gives you just that. Since the Sampler requires
EGA or better graphics (which most of you have), we also
included Circuitry (CGA support) on this issue. As
addictive as Tetris or our very own Nucleon (issue #69),
you're going to love Circuitry.
Look for the following programs on future issues of On Disk
Monthly: a label-maker, a paint program that imports and
saves to the .PCX format, a chess program, a free-form
spreadsheet, task-specific databases, games, utilities and
more!
Catch you next issue. Until then...happy computing!

Some of them, however, are worth mentioning. Just remember,
I have not personally seen or used these products and I am
not recommending their purchase. I am, however, reporting
their existence to you.
