  20. In Clip Art, ON DISK MONTHLY presents art designed to be used
  21. with your favorite desktop publishing or graphics editing
  22. program.  The Clip Art is provided in the widely recognized .PCX
  23. format.  You may have to refer to your desktop publishing or
  24. graphics program's documentation for information on using .PCX
  25. files.

  27. ^C^BUSING OUR CLIP ART^B
  28.  
  29. Every desktop publishing or graphics editing program has a cut
  30. and paste function.  (You may have to refer to your specific
  31. program's documentation for information on how your desktop
  32. publishing or graphics editing program works.)  When you view
  33. our clip art you'll notice that we provide multiple images
  34. (clips) on one graphics page.  The idea is to use the cut and
  35. paste feature to clip just the piece of art you want to use.

  39. This month's holiday Clip Art Pages come from the mighty mice of
  40. Softdisk's artists.

  42. ^C^BTO USE THE ODM CLIP ART VIEWER^B
  43.  
  44. The main menu of the ODM CLIP ART VIEWER is a dual window
  45. display.  The right section displays the clip art files in the
  46. current subdirectory.  The left section displays the available
  47. subdirectories available to change.  The following keys are
  48. active:
  49.  
  50. The up and down arrows move the highlight one line at a time.
  51.  
  52. The PgUp and PgDn keys move the highlight one screen at a time.
  53.  
  54. The Home and End keys move to the top and the bottom of the
  55. current list.
  56.  
  57. The left and right arrows change between the left and right
  58. side of the windows.
  59.  
  60. The Enter key selects the file to view or changes the current
  61. directory.
  62.  
  63. The ESC key exits to DOS.
  64.  
  65. When viewing a file, there is an abbreviated list of commands
  66. across the bottom of the screen.  The available commands change
  67. depending upon the size of the image being viewed.  The two that
  68. are always active are F1 for help and ESC to return to the menu.

  70. If the image is taller than the screen, the following keys are
  71. active:

  73. UpArrow - Scrolls the image up 8 scanlines.
  74. DownArrow - Scrolls the image down 8 scanlines.
  75. PgUp - Scrolls the screen up.
  76. PgDn - Scrolls the screen down.
  77. Home - Move to the top of the image.
  78. End - Move to the bottom of the image.

  80. If the image is wider than the screen, the following keys are

  83. LeftArrow - Scrolls the image left 8 pixels.
  84. RightArrow - Scrolls the image right 8 pixels.
  85. CTRL LeftArrow - Scrolls the screen left.
  86. CTRL RightArrow - Scrolls the screen right.

  88. Clip Art Viewer requires an EGA or VGA Graphics Adapter.
