Welcome to the 50th Issue of Big Blue Disk. George Leritte and Softdisk's Art
Department provided an excellent Fabulous Fifty display on our opening
graphic title screen. I wish all of you could have experienced it.
This issue represents several milestones in Big Blue Disk history. The oft-
requested new version of Datebook is here, Datebook II. Bob and Richard have
done an impressive job of adding many of the features our readers requested as
improvements to Datebook.
You will find an exciting new game, Catacomb. This game was also created by
Softdisk Publishing for our readers' enjoyment. It is an example of the
quality arcade-type games which will be presented in our newest sister
publication, a bimonthly arcade games disk.
Since this issue marks our 50th observance and coincides with the beginning of
the Holiday Season, we decided to include the most popular Christmas feature
we've ever published: Electronic Christmas Cards. For those of you who
already have this feature, we hope it will remind you to use it and send these
very unique "cards" to friends with new PC's. For most of you, having become
part of the Big Blue Disk readership since the original publication, I know
you will enjoy every one of the combinations.
Have a wonderful holiday season!
Sue
